System administration and computing group was formed in 1998 from GeneBee-group originally made by L.Brodsky. In the present time group work is coordinated by Lidiya K. Smirenina

Institute's and Faculty's network support

Network hosted by the group covers Bldg A (A.N. Belozersky Institute), Bldg B (Faculty of Bioengineering and Bioinformatics) and few buildings between them: bookkeeping, engineering services, department of biophysics of Biology Faculty (MSU), house of mitoengeneering, vivarium etc. Includes kilometers of service lines, network equipment, servers, routers, commutators, converters, wi-fi hotspots and personal computers.
