The department is dedicated to technical and methodological work on physical and physicochemical methods of investigation of biomacromolecules (calorimetry, centrifugation, etc).
Providing the chromatography analysis and the analysis of composition and structure of biopolymers. The department also carries out its own research.
Managing electronic and optical microscopes, instruments for probe preparation, consultation and technical support of microscopy research. The research interests of the department are: the structural organization of the eukaryotic genetic apparatus in normal and pathological states, the role of high-level genome organization as a factor of epigenetic regulation, the mechanisms of cell mobility and the role of the centrosome in cytoskeleton organization.
