Transmission electron microscope JEM-1400 (JEOL, Japan) is optimized for high-contrast hogh-relosution imaging of biological samples. Accelerating voltage: 40-120 kV, cathodes – tungsten ar LaB6, magnification: x50-x800000, resolving power (points) – 0.38 nm. The microscope is equipped with high-tilt goniometer, high-resolution water-cooled bottom-mounted CCD-camera and a film camera. Microscope functionality is fully computer-controlled, with high degree of automation.
